Workin'

I lost count of how many weeks I've been at Avon Cliff now. Time goes so fast when you are having fun. I love working there, mostly because of my co workers. Last week we had a visit from two girls from an animal rescue center. They brought many different animals like rats, snakes, owls, furrets and lizards. The residents loved it. They got to pet whatever they liked and a they got a little introduction of all the different animals. I took some pictures and filmed the rats going thru a obsticalcourse, but I wont post any here because some residents are in them.

work work

3 weeks in and I'm getting in to everything. I started working more on my own and it feels good. I'm used to work on my own so it is nice. I'm still having a good time there and I starting to know everyone.
The thing I like the most is that there is rarely any time pressure. In Norway we allways have to hurry, which can reduce the ability to do quality work. At Avon Cliff i can use allmost as long as I want and it makes me feel better about the work i do. I get time to talk to the clients, not just wash-dress-run.

So from what i can see, my time there will be great!

School and first week of work!

The school was great. I met alot of new people and made some friends. The teachers was funny and I had a good time there. My English also improved alot, but mainly from communicating with the others at school.

The workplace seems good so far. They have all been very welcoming and I think I'm going to have a good time there. It's not that different from Norway that I thought it would be. They do many things the same way, and the hygiene there is very good, exept the rug-floors. The place looks good and have a very "home" feel to it. The clients rooms are also very nice. The clients themselves are alot like the Norwegians. And the staff is great. They like to have fun and are usually happy and marry.

First night in England

I arrived at heathrow today, from there we took the bus to Bournemouth. Dawn and her husband met us there. We drove thru Bmouth and to our new families. It was nice meeting the people im staying with, they seem great! Tomorrow Dawn is taking us to see the city, getting to know the place a bit better. Can't wait to get to know the area.
